Device replacement with CX

Description

Replacement of old nnounce device by a new nnounce device  of the same type.

1. Log in to the new nnounce device Configuration UI and reset your initial password.

   

2. Export the device configuration from the old device - Maintenance tab, section Device configuration import & export.

   Follow the configuration EXPORT process as described in section Maintenance - Device configuration import & export.

   TIP!

   Backup process in CX: As an alternative or if your old device is not accessible, you can use the backup files from the Simpleway CX Audio devices tab. The latest backup files can be used for configuration import on the new device.

3. Import the configuration from the old device on the new device -  Maintenance tab, section Device configuration import & export. .

   Follow the configuration IMPORT process as described in section Maintenance - Device configuration import & export.

   Note:

   Upload the file of the old device from the previous step.

4. In Simpleway CX on the Audio devices tab you can finalize the device replacement process:

   1. Click the three dots button for the old nnounce device.

   2. Chose Replace device.

   3. Follow the device pairing process for your new device.

      

Now you should see the new nnounce device paired with your existing device configuration.
