Manage your MEDIA LIBRARY

  • PDF

Article summary

The Media library tab is designed to manage different types of files in the system similar to the file explorer. Images, video, and audio files, among others, are uploaded to the system and can be organized into folders, moved, copied, renamed, viewed, and downloaded. The files saved here can be accessed and used on other tabs to create content.

The visual content of the Media library is usable, for example, from the template Designer by adding media files to templates, with subsequent options to resize them to suit design requirements; or by assigning media files directly to displays, or by selecting media files from the Dynamic media, Playlists, Content scheduler or Scenarios tabs.

Audio files are usable when creating new announcements on the Paging Library tab.

In this tutorial, we will cover the basic functionality of the media library, such as:

  • Uploading media
  • Creating folders
  • Navigating the folder structure
  • Item search
  • Moving, copying, downloading and deleting files and folders
  • Item preview
  • Three-dot menu options
