1. Check the connection of the controller to the TV / LCD screen
Usually this is not a weak point, but you can try to check it.
A) Controller to TV / LCD screen connection
Note: Sometimes replacing the cable can help. There are several reasons for cable failure: loose ends, excessive length and poor cable quality. |
2. Check for TV / LCD screen problems
Sometimes we may encounter problems with displaying the TV / LCD screen.
A) Check if the TV / LCD screen is plugged in They usually have a LED power indicator

3. Check for controller problems
A controller is just a PC that can occasionally malfunction.
A) Check that the controller is plugged in A controller from Simpleway (DDC / UPRD unit) has a blue power-on indicator. If it is not lit, then follow the step below:
B) Check that the power adaptor works

4. Check if the display responds to input prompts
The controller and TV / LCD screen are both switched on and you can see that the controller is booting the operating system. This is followed by an autologin and starting of the Simplevue application.
A) Check that the screen is not obscured by the Simplevue Watchdog application

B) Check if controller is running the Simplevue application

C) Controller has the SimpleVue application installed and can be run manually. It does not run automatically after controller startup Check if SimpleVue is configured to run after startup by opening startup shell and looking for start.exe.
