Generic announcements are located in the Paging tab which is used for triggering announcements inherent by the system, announcements pre-recorded by professional voice talent, uploaded audio files, announcements recorded by the client, and text-to-speech type announcements.
How to trigger playing of flight-related announcements:
- select the announcement you want to play on the Paging tab,
- configure the announcement - language, variables etc.,
- select zones where your announcement shall be heard.
If you cannot find the announcement you want to play in the Paging tab, you can either use the Ad hoc announcements tab or create a new announcement in the Paging library for repetitive announcements, see tutorial Create CUSTOM announcements. Announcements created on the Paging library can be played from the Paging tab.
Announcement text can also be displayed on displays if the selected zones include display configurations to which templates with a visual paging component are assigned, as described in the Visual paging tutorial.
