    Description

    On your micnode2h and micnode2g you can use for paging its built-in paging UI.

    TIP!

    Use the built-in paging UI together with the Q-SYS plugin for micnode2 series microphone stations where you can configure the paging zones and other setup.

    Zone selection and availability

    Configured zones are visible on the Built-in dashboard's main page of your microphone station. Before you can start to make your call, you need to select the zones to which you want your announcement to be played. 

    To select a zone tap on the zone button/s. The selected zone button/s is marked green or can have a different color which is explained in the table:

    A. Selected zone available
    One selected zone for paging marked green after tapping on it. This zone is available for paging.
    Not selected zones for paging are grey. 

    B. Selected zone occupied
    The selected zone -green with red border is occupied by a different announcement.
    The announcement can be recorded and will be played once the zone is available. 

    C. Two selected zones -

    • one available - green and

    • second occupied -green with red border.


    D. One selected available zone and one unselected not available zone
    Zone named "Left bottom" marked green is available for paging
    Zone named "Left top" is red and not selected and not available. You can still select the zone but not immediately play an announcement to it. 

    E. No zones selected


    Start call

    A. Happy flow - Selected zone/s are available
    1. Selects the zone/s where your announcement shall be played. All selected zones are available (green).
    2. Presse the PTT button on the microphone station’s microphone.

    3. Live call starts immeditelly, user can start to talk into the microphone and the announcement is played in the selected zones. 


    4. During the call the zones become occupied. 


    5. After you finish your announcement, stop pressing the PTT button. The announcement is completed. 

    B. Selected zone/s is occupied
    1. Select one or more zones whereas at least one zone is occupied (green with red border).
    2. Still you can presses the PTT button on the microphone.

    3. Record the announcement which will be played once the occupied zone becomes available.

    4. After you finish your announcement, stop pressing the PTT button.  The recording  is finished, but you need to wait until the occupied zone becomes available.








    5. Once the occupied zone became available, the recorded announcement is played to all zones.

    6. The announcement was succesfully played.

    C. No zone selected


    Important

    You can only have one announcement recorded in the queue. Before you start to record a second announcement to the occupied zone, your first announcement need to leave the announcement queue. 

    TIP!

    The Q-SYS Queue timeout setting is not supported for live calls.

    Menu

    From the Menu which opens after clicking on the hamburger icon in the left-hand corner you can access the:

    • nnounce configuration UI,

    • Reboot your device, 

    • Logout
