Configure your TX and RX streams.

  • TX stream – transmits audio to other devices, output.
  • RX stream – receives audio from other devices, input.

One stream can have 1 – 8 channels.

IMPORTANT: To fully configure networks streams, network inputs and/or network outputs need to be included in the DSP design, and the DSP design needs to be saved and deployed.

PREREQUISITE:
DSP Design Editor with micnode2 microphone input Net Tx.

Connect your mic station input in the DSP Design Editor to the Net tx channel. This channel becomes available  for further configuration in the Network stream section as described below.

Note: Select the Net tx channel from the Components, drag and drop it on the canvas, name it  and connect it with your mic station input.
Example: Connection of mic station input with Net tx channel.

A. Navigate to the Network stream section in the left menu. 

Click on the plus icon for the TX stream.










B. Insert the following information about the stream:

  • Protocol – select AES67
  • Number of channels with the plus/minus 
  • IP port of receiver (e.g. Q-Sys core)
  • Individual channels can be assigned to “Net Tx” from DSP design. 

 

Click on the Confirm Changes button.





C. Confirm with the Save all changes.
