These components are fundamental in audio processing, helping to shape and manage sound effectively in various applications.
Delay
Delay can be used in time alignment for multi-speaker setups and synchronization of audio with video compensating for physical distance. Note: Maximum 8 Delay components can be used and each component can have max.100ms delay set.
Gain
Simple control for adjusting the volume level of a signal.
dBFS (decibels relative to full scale)
Is a unit of measurement that indicates the level of an audio signal relative to the maximum possible level in a digital system. 0 dBFS represents the maximum level, with negative values indicating lower levels.
RMS (Root Mean Square)
Measures the average power of the audio signal over time. It is a statistical measure used to determine the effective or average power of an audio signal. It calculates the square root of the average of the squares of the signal's instantaneous values.
Tone Detector
Monitors audio signals and triggers when it detects a specific frequency at or above a set volume level.
