Release notes
1. Dashboard features
With our Dashboard feature, you can easily create a comprehensive overview of your airport, station, or premises. It offers intuitive navigation for triggering announcements, muting zones, previewing displays, and performing other quick actions — all readily accessible to your operators and staff.
NOTE: The Dashboard feature is not configured in our demo environment but contact us anytime to arrange a feature presentation, customer@simpleway.global
2. New scenario type - Emergency lockdown of UIs
The new scenario type allows users to lock down predefined Touch user interfaces (GateUI, BaggageUI, CheckinUI, and FlexUI). In emergency situations, this feature helps prevent misuse of devices that are often located in publicly accessible areas such as gate desks, cash desks, information counters, or transit desks.
See our new tutorial UI Lockdown Scenario setup
3. Company Microsoft SSO - role mapping of SSO vs. Raptor
Mapping user roles to Microsoft accounts allows you to manage user credentials through Microsoft while linking users to their respective roles in OpsUI. Users sign in to OpsUI and TouchUIs using their Microsoft accounts, and their assigned user role is automatically applied.
4. Announcements notifications behaviour changed in OpsUI
We've updated the behavior of announcement notifications in OpsUI. Users are now only notified about manually triggered announcements. No toast messages will appear for automatically triggered announcements.
5.Trip paging - "Actions" Section added for trips
On the Trip Paging tabs (including Arrivals Paging and Departure Paging), there is now a second section next to the announcement-triggering buttons for individual trips. This new section allows users to trigger predefined actions for a selected trip, enabling quick and consistent handling of flight-related tasks.
NOTE: The Actions section is not configured in our demo environment but contact us anytime to arrange a feature presentation, customer@simpleway.global
6. Locations with Custom field support
Adding custom fields and assets to locations enables us to perform better audio mapping.
