TUTORIAL STEPS:

Prerequisite: For the new font style added to the Simpleway system to work correctly, you need to make sure that the displays that will use the content template with the new font style are capable of displaying text with that font correctly. This means that you need to make sure that the font you want to add in the Fonts tab is also available in Windows.
Font style in Windows:

  1. Open the Windows font settings and drag and drop the custom font extension file into the "Add Fonts" area.
  2. The font name must match in both OpsUI and Windows, where the primary and full names must match, otherwise the inconsistencies must be corrected.
A) New fonts in Ops UI

  1. Open the Fonts tab.
  2. Click the New font button. A new Fonts sub-window opens.

B) Upload and install

  1. Click the Upload button.
  2. Select font extensions in the local machine's browser. Note: Multiple items can be uploaded at once. Only files with .otf and .ttf extensions are valid file types.
  3. Select an uploaded font item from the Fonts modal window. The font style is automatically installed from the uploaded file and is displayed on the main page of the Fonts tab. It cannot be edited, only deleted.
C) Templates tab

The newly added fonts are available for text elements in template designer under Font style section.

D)  Uninstalling fonts
To remove an unnecessary custom font, simply:

  1. Click the Font item in the Fonts tab. A new edit item page opens.
  2.  Click the Delete button and confirm deletion in a new pop-up window.
