If you need a refresher on this topic, see tutorial: [Connect and configure DISPLAYS](/v1/docs/connect-and-configure). Similar to display banks, video walls are composed of two or more displays and the wall layout can be designed according to the physical installation of your displays by setting up its dimensions - the number of displays horizontally and vertically. The **assigned template is stretched over the whole dimension of the video wall**. **Note**: The configuration of the video wall always overrides the configurations of the individual displays included in that video wall. Unlike display banks, video walls do not have a content fallback function. You can use *Asset* values in the video wall in the same way you would when configuring individual displays, allowing you to assign specific attributes to the displays for data-driven content rendering. You can create your own airport-specific asset values in the *Asset* section, such as *Carriers*, *Gates*, etc., as well as custom values in the *Custom Fields* tab, and then use them in the video wall configuration window as you wish. Topics covered - Displays tab - Video wall --- **TUTORIAL STEPS:** | A) **Create a new video wall** 1. Open the *Displays* tab. 2. Set the *dimensions* of the video wall according to the physical installation of the displays, that is, according to the number of displays arranged horizontally and vertically. 2. Use the drop-down list to select the display configuration for each cell of the video wall table, which is generated based on the dimensions set in the previous step. 3. Set the *asset &* *custom field* value if required. 4. **Click the *Save* button to finalize your configuration. The connected displays are now ready to show the configured template.** | ![](https://cdn.document360.io/a3e67867-6316-451b-94ad-ec727ac9102a/Images/Documentation/Slide5(106).JPG) | | **Important notes:** - Content of the video wall always overrides the content of the individual displays which are added to the video wall after saving the configuration. - No restriction for the content resolution is applied when assigning any template, content is always stretched over the whole video wall. Aspect ratio according to the video wall resolution (sum of individual added display resolutions) and template resolution is fixed and black stripes added on the sides of the video wall in case when the content's aspect ratio is different. |
